ARBREAK™ 8993E demulsifier is used for the effective separation of formation water from crude oil emulsions and for the removal of residual traces of salt from crude oils in refineries. ARB8993E demulsifier can be used with effectiveness in synergistic blends with oxyalkylated phenolic resins or with other demulsifier intermediates to break crude oil emulsions of the water-in-oil type.
